Major Metropolis along the Kansas Missouri border. It is a major transportation hub for airline traffic in the Midwest. The city is located on both sides of the border with the largest portion of the city located on the Missouri side.
The cities on both sides of the border have a state income tax.
The Missouri River runs through the Missouri side of Kansas City and does have Riverboat Gambling.
Is known for its barbeque and there are several places in town which proclaim to be the best.
Winters can be brutal thou not as bad as areas further north in North Dakota and Minnesota.

There is a state Income Tax. As with most states if you live in a state with no income tax and you are working on contract we suggest you follow the Contractor's Rule and make sure you return home at least once a month, do not setup an official residence.
