Despite the name Extended Stay America is not really what we at Fossnel consider an extended stay. Excluding the Marriott and Hilton chains this chain is the most expensive that we have found. Rates are all determined on a daily basis not weekly or monthly. However, you can pay weekly if you choose as rates do change on a daily basis and they will calculate your payment amount by adding the rate for each day and that is what you will owe. At this time, we have not found an Extended Stay America that will let you pay for longer than a week.
Extended Stay America’s do have a full kitchen with full refrigerator and oven. Most have a couch in the room and basic cable TV. You are not allowed to bring in your own furniture. Kitchen utensils are available at the front desk, some locations charge a deposit, otherwise you can bring your own. Appliances may not be the greatest, but they are adequate and will work fine for your stay there.
Bathroom items are provided but we recommend you bring your own. Each room comes with an ironing board and iron. The closets are the best of the economical extended stays.
Extended Stay America’s are the most national of the extended stay motels, the only extended stay chain in California although you can not stay more than 28 days consecutive.
