Connecticut is an income tax state and one of the highest in the United States and requires you to file if you earn any income whose source is in Connecticut. If you spend over 180 days in the state, you are considered a resident and will have to pay state income tax on income not earned in Connecticut.
With the high state income tax rate Fossnel does not recommend Connecticut.
