Dallas has an exceptionally large technology sector spread over several suburbs. Many opportunities are located in the Dallas suburbs. People of Dallas are normally extremely nice and extremely helpful especially if you are new to the area. Dallas is a large metropolis so at times you may feel entrapped at times but there are plenty of places nearby to go and relax on weekends or days off.
Currently Dallas is run by Judge Jenkins and he has declared himself King Jenkins and dictates who will be allowed to make money and who will not. What you will wear and where you can go including your residence.
Dallas is liberal compared to the suburbs which are very conservative so if you are a diehard liberal you will mind the Dallas intercity but will find the suburbs difficult although most people in the Dallas Area are very accepting and tolerate.
Despite contrary review, not all people in Texas or Dallas carry guns and I know most Californians and people in the northeast believe an OK Corral shootout occurs every day somewhere in Texas, but this is not true. If taking a position in Dallas or anywhere else in Texas, if you enter a place where alcoholic beverages are served you will see a sign when you enter the establishment and one behind the bar that will warn you about the consequences of having a gun or any other weapon on the premises which will up to ten years in prison. Texas does have a self-defense laws which allow you to protect yourself.
